El Mero Mero makes the best tacos! They are the only place I’ve found here that actually puts pineapple in their Tacos Al Pastor! They are a food truck that can be found at the corner of Carlisle and Candelaria Wednesday through Saturday from 6pm to 11pm. They are always crowded so the wait for the food is about 30 minutes but it is so worth it!

Was excited to try this food truck but was so disappointed, took a little over half an hour to get my Al pastor taquitos. And there were people who ordered after me who ordered 3 plates or more and they all got their food before me. Even a man who ordered 10 minutes after me. He even got 4 plates to my one. And the meat was so dry.

Best pambazos, quesadillas, and pastor on this side of the Rio Bravo. Plus, best elotes en vaso in town. Have eaten here for years, and they never disappoint!

Came here for tacos grande. Very well flavored and something that you won’t find at every place. They have a mushroom option if you are vegetarian.

Tasty food truck with uniquely flavored Mexican food. Happy to be able to enjoy their delicious food when I get the chance. Friendly person taking the orders and calling them out when they are ready. Good portions for the price. Their offerings are not at all like the other taco trucks around town, so it’s nice to have variety, especially when they taste so good. The quesadillas are especially delicious with melted mozzarella cheese on their large corn tortillas, your choice of meat (my favorite is their suadero), and topped with lettuce, sour cream, and cotija cheese. They’re usually set up sometime between 6 and 7pm, but sometimes they’re not there, so it’s always a gamble to head over to see whether they’re out or not (definitely worth it though!). We also enjoy the elote (mexican street corn) and mango from the little food truck next to them, El Merito.

This is the best taco truck out of the 5 I tried in Albuquerque so far. Delicious! The “tinga” chicken tacos were amazing, I highly recommend it.

Very friendly staff working and willing to explain all the choices if you don’t understand everything. I’m not a taco expert but in my 47 years of consumption these were the best I had.

Great taco truck with original food with CDMX style and great variety. The problem is that they do not respect their hours, you can easily find it closed during open hours (usually Wednesday or Thursday).
