Let me tell you.. The carnitas are great.. I could get enough. I really don’t eat them because everywhere I go they are real dry… No here. Perfect…

Have you tried the New and Improved El Tarasco in Lawndale? It’s back and better than ever! The previous version closed and was replaced by another Mexican restaurant that surely appeared similar, but I heard the food was lousy. Now, another El Tarasco has returned, and it’s fantastic. The new staff is AMAZING! I’ve been twice and they couldn’t have been nicer, ensuring that our experience was special. I’m unsure which branch of the family owns this one (the family drama is fit for a telenovela), but they’re doing it right!

The best chicken tacos in town! Your taste buds will thank you. Take a bite into this juicy chicken ,crispy lettuce, and cheese hard shell taco, with a mild salsa. The taco has healing power similar to that of chicken noodle soup. A must-have when you are visiting LA.

The new management or whatever has given JT a more organised aura.

Great tasting food at very reasonable prices. The meat is tender & juicy, the home made tortillas are excellent. The outdoor patio is very clean & the atmosphere is great along with the excellent customer service. The fresh drinks are delicious as well. Whenever I’m in the area, I make it a point to stop by as you should too. Highly recommend this restaurant for authentic Mexican food. Update, just tried their Birria tacos dorados, simply delicious . See the pictures

There’s nothing great about dining there. For takeout, the food is ok. The guacamole was very good, but I was not thrilled with the “whole” tortilla chips. I did like the super burrito but my wife thought the chicken burrito was only fair.

I tried almost all the food here, it has taste and style like you wouldn’t believe. This restaurant knows how to send your meal in style with great taste. They a great variety of options for you to choose from. I recommend anybody to stop in at least try once, they will not disappoint.

(1-25-22) first time stopping at this place to get some tacos. Daily I drive by and today I decided to try them out. In my opinion, tacos made by hand tortilla is the best . They also pretty good.

This place is ok, I just felt that the food was served kind of thrown together. Shrimp with heads left on and everything has a greasy residue. I just felt that for being on the go, it was difficult to get a plate of food that was as of you were at a backyard bbq
