Food was delicious. I highly recommend the Parmesan fries. You can get them as an appetizer or with a meal. Great atmosphere but fair pricing. Madison took great care of us.

The staff/waitress working made this review much higher. Super nice and quick.

3 people with 3 different orders with the only complaint being the Steak Salad wasn’t tossed together well enough, and didn’t like the crispy onions. Mediterranean Pita was good enough (not great). I’m very picky with coleslaw and I LOVED this homemade recipe — not too sweet, not too vinegary. Otherwise, excellent value for the price.

Haven’t been at Fireside for a while. I forgot their food is pretty good. Our group of 6 had one slight miss on their meal, otherwise everyone was pleased. I’ll give this one a 4.5 and recommend you give it a try. My steak wrap was good but spicy, which I like. Check it out, sit on the patio, have a drink and relax. P.S. The staff was great!

We have driven past this restaurant many times. Even though there is a sign it’s up high so we didn’t see it. Friends had told us it was great and they were right. We had juicy pork chops with a lovely apple compote on top, garlicky mashed potatoes and generous side salad. Great menu. Will have to go back soon!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Best place in the area!

Hidden gem in Forest Lake. After our first visit, I’d say it’s well worth the drive from anywhere in the metro.

Tried Fireside for the first time with a group of 7 celebrating a birthday. My steak salad was very good and the others said the same. The server was new (I think) and could use some training in attentiveness but everyone has to start somewhere! The food presentation was excellent, the cooks are commendable.

Incredible venue! It’s way larger than it seems — 2 levels, multiple bars, “romantic zone”, and event area. Each space has a different “feel” and all have unique, captivating fireplaces.

I ordered the Getaway burger medium with garlic parmesan fries and I wouldn’t order again. Burger was fully cooked if not over cooked. And the goat cheese was so imposing it took away from everything else. I scraped it off which took all the balsamic with it. The garlic parmesan fries were a pass for me as well. Way way too much parmesan on the fries. And it was just the shaker bottle parm, no real shredded/shaved parm. And I couldn’t taste any garlic on them. Server wasn’t the friendliest either. Overall for $15, I’d go somewhere else.
