If i could give 100 stars, I would. This place is absolutely awesome. The man who was our server was outstanding, and very friendly. Tacos!! Were damn good! Blueberry violet margarita was the best margarita i have ever had. If we are ever in the area again, definitely stopping here.

I have been to Gato many times..it had been awhile since I was last there. I ordered the street corn nachos..and a classic margarita. The drink didn’t taste right..it was sour..The nachos..had hardly any queso on them..and a ton of Pico. The chips were not the same either..at one time their food was amazing..I asked the group I was with..if the food was the same as before..They all said NO..it wasn’t as crowded as it use to be on Friday either..could have been the holiday weekend..

Hands down the best tacos I’ve ever had! The chorizo is phenomenal and I highly recommend the apple and onion slaw! Also got a house margarita that was not only delicious, but a great price too! Will 100% be back and will be letting friends know!

My boyfriend and I saw pictures online and it looked amazing. I ordered the marinated steak tacos with queso fresca. The taco came with like 4-5 small chunks of the toughest, and worst tasting meat I’ve ever had. We also ordered sides of rice which didn’t taste good at all and I’m pretty sure was partially uncooked because there was some pretty hard bits in there. Would not recommend.

Delicious tacos and margaritas restaurant in downtown! There are both open and reserved seating areas. Chill atmosphere. Ordering one taco yields three, which is great to get a few types and share them or do a family style meal. I would definitely visit again! The Hollywood Tacos were excellent value and flavor, as was the Margarita Flight. I heard the nachos are really good too

If I could give bartender, Ryan, 10 stars, I would. He is the most polite, detailed oriented, outgoing person ever. He made my short visit most pleasant. The food is always great, flavorful, and fresh.

I finally got to enjoy this place. And on a day, I was really struggling to be happy. My husband took me n our 2 girls out for a day around town, and we came here for lunch. The girls each got their own order of cheese nachos, but they could have it split one. I also got nachos but with babacoia and all the fixings. It was enormous! My husband got pork tacos and raved about how good they were. I ended up needing his help to eat my nachos and still had some to take home. Service was super quick, and our server was so sweet. Definitely coming back.

Not a great experience, ever really. Typically order takeout and it’s drastically different depending on who is working. Sometimes they get your order perfectly, but often times it’s missing things. Most recently, spent $30 on two orders of nachos for takeout and didn’t get any nacho cheese with it…tried calling (for 15 minutes) to see if I could come back to get it. By the time I got through to someone it was too late. They gave only a $5 giftcard. Previously, they’ve forgotten chips (on an order of nachos??). Wouldn’t recommend takeout.
