I’ve tried the wings (bbq), onion rings, shrimp on the bun, oyster on the bun, sweet potato fries that have cinnamon and sugar, and vanilla malt. I highly recommend the wings, they are crispy deep fried and the bbq sauce is phenomenal! I highly recommend the fried shrimp on the bun (king size), the onion rings, get the cinnamon and sugar sweet potato fries, and most importantly do not forget the malt! They are like old school malts! Delicious!

Glynn’s is always a must stop for us when driving through Franklinton, LA. Service is always great. Staff members are friendly and polite. Food gets an A+ here because it is much better than Burger King or McD’s! Great burgers, fries, and more. I have tried to oysters and they were fried to perfection–just right and not over done or under done. Ice cream is simply heaven and the milkshakes and malts are the real deal! The dining room gives a “down home” feeling and very comfortable. If you haven’t given them a try, I highly recommend this location of Glynn’s. It is far better than the Bogalusa location in food and atmosphere especially.

Very nice small-town diner right in front of the gates to the Washington parish fairgrounds. Roastbeef po’boy caught my eye today along with the sweet potato fries! Both were delicious and I hear they have excellent malts which I was too full to try! I’ll do that next time I get by as a treat!

Hit or miss on the food. Good ice cream, malts and staff. Foods pretty straight forward, but this last trip wrecked my insides and even my 12 year old said her burger tasted funny. Plenty of parking and close to the fair grounds.

Small mom and pop drive inn restaurant in a small town where everyone knows each other that serves regular fare. I had a “king size” cheeseburger, fries and coke for $7. Not bad. Not bad at all but kind of puny for something called king sized. Kinda an idle boast. Service by two teenaged girls was adequate. If back in town I’d go again instead of a chain restaurant.

Been open a long time for a reason. Food is fantastic, reasonably priced. Family oriented counter service or old time drive-in walk up window. Family owned service is always fantastic. People here are good ole country folks. Burgers, poboys, soft serve ice cream and home made desserts/pies. Located right across from the Washington Parish Fairgrounds. Clean dining room, restrooms and newly remodeled. The owners work behind the counter and in the kitchen so you know it’s done right. They buy local ingredients when they can, like Double D sausage and Washington Parish produce.

Went with friends a couple times now. Wasn’t very good the staff seemed they weren’t glad to have us. My friends are deaf and it seemed like they were upset to deal with us but more or less they didn’t want to be there doing their jobs. The food wasn’t as good as the Bogalusa one. Next time we’ll be going to Bogalusa. Very dissatisfied!!!

I ordered a king size cb, waited 10 mins for a drink. Another 30 mins for our food in which case mine didn’t come out. I finally got mine 10 mins after my family & it was wrong size & everything. Sent it back again, came back wrong again. I ordered a king cb with mayo, Mustard, ketchup & tomato. Simple & plain but it came out wrong twice. I just don’t understand especially not over the course of time they had. It was no bigger than the ketchup pack that I had to add. No manager & the only 1 who apologized was the only 1 who wasn’t at fault. Another guy there got a burger with no burger….
