I wish our server would have told us that they were pausing food orders to clean the griddle. Unfortunately we found out by then telling others who came in after us. Service was incredibly slow, in hindsight we should have left before the 20 minutes it took to take drink orders, but we were on a very emotionally heavy trip and didn’t have the spoons. Food was decent enough, when it came out over an hour after we arrived(breakfast foods), but this was a poor choice for a pit stop.

This place & this company is for the birds! I visited the Ocmulgee East Blvd. location back on April 24th, 2023 simply because I get their coupons in the mail ALL THE TIME. I decided to treat a friend there for lunch. Got there and had to wait for a table to be cleaned. Thought that was odd since there were only 2 other customers in there….. Sat down & ordered, showed my coupon and was instantly told “OH WE DON’T TAKE THOSE” I said well it’s not expired yet. She said “WE STILL DON’T TAKE THEM” I didn’t wanna argue so I still ordered. We both ordered the smokehouse platter which is $8.59 with the coupon and $12.49 without the coupon. It’s ridiculous how they refuse to accept coupons when I get them in the mail every other week!

One waitress. Took 15 minutes before my order was taken and 30 minutes before I received my order. Waitress kept looking up to talk to somebody else while taking my order and put something wrong on my order. I even pointed to it, she still wrote it wrong so I dont blame the cook. I actually dont blame the waitress. I blame the business for having only one waitress working on a Sunday night.

Do not support this huddle house period!!!!!! And their corporate office told me in which I have recorded ,they do not communicate by phone only chat ? I said so why are we on the phone now? Huddle house stole my money ,bc I placed an online order months ago and they did not have the wings . They said I could not be refunded bc it was online I would have to contact their corporate. I went and purchased wings at another restaurant. When calling to get my money refunded 8 times ,still no contact nor refund. Now they say the huddle house is owned by a separate franchise that they don’t know who to contact . So that’s stealing. Ashame for a bud operation . They have not emailed nor called . Do not eat ,not spend your money with them and I plan to get my local naacp involved and boycott the store
