I’ve only had sandwiches so far- the Cuban was the best I’ve had since I moved out of north Jersey (La Isla in Hoboken and Rumba’s up in Jersey City). Really friendly staff, nice owners and very clean.

Food was great. Service was even better. I had the goat stew and my GF had athe ham and cheese sandwich. In between we had the papa relleno ( super amazing. Crispy and tasty) and the Empanadas ( also amazing). Wish we had Pics but we ate it all lol.

First visit to the new Latin Diner at 1007 Memorial Drive in Asbury Park. The location used to be the Cuban Cafe, and the building was constructed to be a Checkers fast food restaurant, so there is limited indoor seating. While the weather is still warm, they have multiple outdoor tables with wide umbrellas for sun protection, and there are a few small tables inside, and several counter seats along the perimeter of the windows. There is lots of available parking in the lot for the supermarket next door.
