Delicious! Our office just enjoyed a tasty lunch from Boxcar. I got the Reuben, my coworkers got spicy nachos and a potato. I didn’t snag a picture of my sandwich because it was gone so fast lol. 10/10.

Absolutely a hidden gem in this community. Found it by mistake as we were driving around the block to go to another location and saw the name. As we were in town, in part, rail fanning we decided to stop. One of the greatest decisions of the day. Amazing food quality and friendly staff. I had the grilled chicken breast, 8 yr old son had 2 full helpings of the largest, and by his view the best mac n cheese he had in a long time. There was an arcade area but we didn’t venture into it as the sign said closed. Also serves a local branded sauce.

This place used to be amazing. Just went in for the first time in years. Apparently everything is microwaved now? Ordered hot sandwiches and cheese fries. Microwaved sandwich meat on cold bread and microwaved waffle fries. We listened to it beep with every order. Very sad about this. EDIT IN RESPONSE TO OWNERS: I understand your intentions are that the food is prepared the same way as 1981, but I can promise we listened to your employees microwave everything prepared that night. Very well may be an employee issue, but it is an issue worth checking into. You guys used to be amazing, I’d love to be able to say that again

Went in to order food to go. 12/11. Ordered a Rueben sandwich. I don’t even know what they made. Very dissatisfied with money spent. Lesson learned to check each item before you leave!!

What the heck is the problem with getting service ? I set for over 30min waiting on a potato and a sandwich. The place wasn’t that busy ! Wife ordered curbside pickup and several came after order was placed and had left. Then sandwich wasn’t even right! Then when I finally did get my food, I addressed the wait time and was told that they were busy… I saw how busy you were !

My friend and I ate lunch at Boxcar today and the food was ok. But she treated me using a gift card she had received for Christmas. There was a $4 balance on the card which she was forced to forfeit. She didn’t expect cash back but just wanted the balance left on the card to use at an upcoming visit. It’s crazy that they don’t make that possible. Many other restaurants do. She will be telling her family not to buy gift cards at Boxcar again. Sorry but this just doesn’t make sense.
