Food is amazing but when delivered by the restaurant through GrubHub they don’t bother delivering to your face/apt or door. They leave it on the floor outside the lobby! So unfortunate!

Never been a huge fan of Chinese food but my wife really wanted to try this place after a day on the boat. They had one of the few imported beers I enjoy called “Sapporo.” I got the orange chicken and boy was it DELICIOUS!!! My wife liked her sushi. Only gripe is our waiter took a long time.

We sat down at 8:00. Some of us ordered Chinese, others sushi. Chinese order arrived at 8:40, totally fine. We were told the sushi was a bit behind but would come out soon.

Not the best Chinese food. Shrimp and scallop fried rice was okay. Fried rice itself was good, but the seafood was not fresh and quite fishy, the scallops and shrimp were definitely not fried with the rice and seemed to be lightly baked. Orange chicken was also alright. It was crispy but lacked real orange flavor. I’d recommend you go to your local hole in the wall Chinese place since you’ll probably have better food for cheaper.

We have never felt so unwelcome in any restaurant, anywhere ever. We walked in at 9.45 pm on Saturday (closing time for this business is listed as 11 pm on the website and Google) and asked to be seated outside. A hostess lied to us that “The City” made them close the outside early today while all other businesses on Broadway were happily serving their customers outside at that time. Long story short, we got seated and talked with the waiter, who had waited on us a few times before, about what was going on and why you do not want customers an hour and 15 minutes before closing when another waitress YELLED to us from the half of the dining room that ” 11 pm is when we are closing our doors” and other remarks clearly letting us know that we should go, which we did. I have never had restaurant staff Yelling at me before; a new experience but not going to repeat though. Not going to come back ever again which I expressed on our way out the door on Saturday and heard to my back that they “will be happy if I never come back”. So be it.

We tried the chicken fried rice and lunch General Tso chicken. Firstly, wow they give a HUGE lunch portion! Secondly, this place was cute and very yummy! We were a little bummed we couldn’t upgrade our white rice for fried rice with the lunch chicken. Also bummed they don’t offer side orders of noodles or fried rice in case you wanted to do a small plate/ “taste of Chicago”.

Today was my last time ordering from here. I’ve ordered twice before, and both times it was disappointing. I left a note on the Uber Eats app, but they ignored it both times. I even paid a $15 delivery fee just to pick it up myself. The staff was very rude, and their customer service was poor. No one even apologized for wasting my time and sending the wrong items. Not going back.
