I bought a 2pc. baked chicken dinner with mac and cheese and dressing and it was horrible my food was cold and had no flavor truly dissatisfied, they also wanted to charge $6 for one extra piece of chicken just outrageous.

This place is literally NEVER open. I live in the area and thought “wow a black owned soulfood restaurant, i must check them out!” After many weeks of driving by and calling (yes during their business hours) I finally got through to someone. My chicken was dry as ever. My husband’s fish tasted like it had been refried. The Kool-aid tasted like sugar water. And the Mac and cheese had absolutely no flavor. The sweet potatoes were okay. As much as I want to support its a no for me. They are never open!

I really try my best to support black owned restaurants. However I will not support this establishment again. The Peach cobbler is the WORST. $6 dollars in the trash. I called the owner in spoke with her about the cobbler being like bread. And she stated it’s made with biscuits or bread Like down south. THE PEACH COBBLER DIDN’T EVEN TASTE LIKE PEACH COBBLER. IT MORE A BABY FOOD SNACK. Food was ok just need more flavor.

First timer and food was delivered via Grubhub. Pork chops were freshly fried and seasoned to perfection. Liver and onions was fresh and tender also seasoned to perfection. Candied yams were yummy. Rice and gravy was room temperature but good and cornbread was on the dry side but so I put in in microwave to soften it up. Overall very good food will definitely order again.

I was really excited about trying this new spot so you can imagine my disappointment as I threw away almost all of our uneaten meals. We couldn’t finish our food everything was too salty. Chicken, pork chops, turkey, greens & tomatoes. The dressing & sweet potatoes was insipid. The Mac-n-cheese was the best thing out of the entire meals. You can have great flavor without all of the salt.

I ordered the turkey wings from DoorDash when I received my order it was one giant turkey Wing which was cold. The potato salad was watery The dressing was okay The macaroni was pretty good but everything was cold and I had to microwave it and they forgot to give me my cake. Sorry won’t be returning.

Food was terrible. Stopped in we were the only customers. Was leary but decided since black owned to give it a try. Our total was 45 not bad for 2 for soulfood. Ordered fried chicken, mac,dressing,yams and cornbread. Chicken was redropped in bad grease looked old and taste terrible. Dressing i think they added water through in microwave to reheat. Was wet tasting terrible. Mac was ok, cornbread was cold had been sitting on counter didnt reheat. Just an overall bad experience. Cook, manager came from back stood at register for 10 minutes never spoke. Let me remind we are the only customers dining in she was 10 feet from us. Want ever return.

Horrible Horrible Horrible I would never order from this place again I ordered off of door dash the food is high but it tastes disgusting this doesn’t taste like authentic soul food I ordered 2 peach cobblers instead of them contacting me or having door dash contact me they give me bread pineapple pudding and i’m allergic to pineapples just so inconsiderate I would never go here again and wouldn’t recommend no-one to go here
