We stopped in for lunch on a Sunday before heading back home. The food was so good! Even though they were busy with the after church Sunday crowd, the service was outstanding! We will make more tourist day trips to shop and definitely eat here more!!!

As we drove through Gonzales TX, we suddenly had a feeling for Mexican food. I checked out Google Maps looking for a recommendation. We found Mi Lupita Taco House highly rated, so we stopped in. Maybe because we arrived within 30 mins from closing, but I felt that the ladies were rude and short. Luckily, a young man ended up being our waiter. We ordered the #1 Special Dinner Plate and the #37 Gordita Plate.

Love Mi Lupita. I have enjoyed every meal there. So far my favorites are No.50 mini tacos De Barbacoa and the Chile Relleno. My crew love the Super Nachos. Will get photos before I absolutely destroy the plate next time. The Agua de Jamaica is super refreshing too!

This was my first experience with this establishment and it was good. I was here because my cousin graduated and this was her choice. I got the chesse enchiladas and I was not impressed with the beans and they need to improve the taste of the beans, but the reason why they still get a 5 star is because our party got there when they were closing and they still allowed our group of 40 to eat!! It took a little long but who expects 40 people once you have closed? Great day with the family!! The staff is great and they work together!!

We ordered the Enchiladas Verdes with cheese (instead of chicken) enchiladas, and they were excellent! The Mexican rice had great flavor, and the refried beans were delicious as well; they had an almost grilled taste. We were very impressed and would MOST DEFINITELY come back here again! We’re very picky about Mexican food, and Mi Lupitas was really, really good!
