Restaurant is very nice and clean. They explain the process of a hot pot very well if you’ve never been before. The price is extremely reasonable considering you eat as much as you want of high quality ingredients. Would easily recommend and will be back soon. Korean fried chicken appetizer was also very good. Had two plates of it to myself.

I love the vegetable and noodle options! The meat is great and the cuts were clean. I just felt that so much of the flavor was more around the sauces, vegetables, and noodles used. I would recommend the tonkotsu and udon noodle combo. Also the peanut green onion sauce slapped. The place is dangerous because you could just sit here socialize and eat all evening.

Absolutely great value. The atmosphere is refined enough to be fun, but still family friendly. The food quality is top notch. The experience is way fun for both adults and kids. Our toddler has never been so excited over a plate full of vegetables. The staff is awesome. And the price is incredible considering what you’re getting. Very highly recommend

All you can eat Shabu Shabu, was a great place, vegetables were fresh, everything was organized and clean (we did go on a monday night, bit slower than other nights I assume). Each person has their own personal broth which I liked (3 of us, sat at a booth with 4 warmers) Our server Beom was great, always checking in on us to make sure we were good on broth, and answering any questions we had on broth, meat quality (great selection of meat), anything of the sort. Do ask about the meat though, especially since some people may get picky, but doesn’t hurt to try them all!

This was the first time trying hot pot for a couple in my group, and we had a good time. It’s a fun experience if you don’t know what you are doing (which I didn’t), and the server did a good job upselling us on a appetizer sampler, so the spread looked pretty decadent by the time it was on our table. With the disclaimer that I have no frame of reference for this kind of thing, I think it would be a good place to take the plunge. I did end up adding bunch more garlic, chili oil, and green onion, but I could just be a weirdo.

I was super excited to go and experience Mr. Shabu at Gateway Mall. We were taken in right away with our reservation. The appetizers were delicious!!! I would pay to go back and just eat the appetizers.

Dare I say, best hot pot/shabu shabu in Utah. Draws from Chinese, Japanese, and Korean cuisines in their good selection of broths and sauces. Very clean. Service is friendly and fast. Relatively kid-friendly with high chairs, spacious table, and booths. Definitely will come again and again.
