Hands down this is the worst experience I’ve experienced patronizing an Asian themed cuisine!

I wanted to support Asian American Month, and took my granddaughter to Chinatown Chicago. She wanted sushi, we couldn’t find one place that had it on this south side of Chinatown.

Pretty tasty food, though the hand pulled lamb soup I got had a bunch of chunks of lamb with hair still on it which was a bit off putting.

Pretty nice place, I ordered a cold styled noodle and wonton soup also a pork rice cake, the food was pretty good although took a long time and when I meant long it was about 40-50 minutes! 🙁 good thing I was not in a hurry or really hungry, but wouldn’t recommended if you’re in a hurry or feeling really hungry.

I found used cigarette filters in their takeout food, DO NOT EAT!!! And they don’t even admit it. I’m still feeling disgusting. Someone should shut the restuarant down!

Absolute authentic Fuzhou food. I recommend Wonton, fish balls, Yan Wan and the rice flour cake soup. Really good taste for me as a Fuzhouer.

The name of the restaurant doesn’t say much but in Chinese character it says Fu Zhou (Foo Chow) Eatery. It’s a hole in the wall, mom and pop place with unique specialty food from the Fu Zhou region of Fu Jian (Hokkien) province in Southeastern China. We had Yan Wan, Fu Chow fish ball, fried eel (tasty but a ton of bones), a ox tail string noodle soup and they were very authentic.

Nice family-owned restaurant offering Fujian province cuisines among other dishes. I can see how some customers find their customer service a bit lacking, especially in comparison to American dine-in’s. They are a family trying to make a living and serve the community with distinct cuisine, unlike restaurant group corps with invested training in hospitality. Delicious dishes, especially drunken rib, so flavorful. I would recommend!

White rice was good, pepper steak was spicy and not to bad, chicken sesame was to sweet but broccoli was fresh. Pineapple and mango smoothie were odd tasting. Like a syrup taste rather that natural. New place I and the wife tried out of a while. Overall for one server working, was ok. I wasn’t offered water but I think she assumed that we ordered smoothies, that would be our drink. I was so hungry it didn’t matter and just ate. Lady came off kinda of slangish in taking our ordered, then again maybe was just me. Parking meters and $2 parking areas.
