We had heard the fish fry was good so we went to try it out last Friday. We were not disappointed at all and will go back again. Drinks were spot on, staff was also very attentive! Bar is small when they are busy and we waited for a table but it was well worth the reasonable wait!

There was nothing special about this place and over-rated on Google. We had burgers, Cod fish fry and chicken sandwich. We do not plan on returning here in the future, since there are a lot of better places to go for a fish fry in the area. Lots of ATVers and road dust in the parking lot.

Best burgers in the north woods, hands down. Owner is very personable. Yeah the parking lot is dusty, it’s gravel, if you don’t like it I’m sure there’s a McDonalds somewhere for you.

Service was awesome with it being so busy and only having a bartender and 1 cook! They where so friendly! The food was amazing! The chili cheese curds appetizer and the pickles for the sandwich was amazing ! It’s right on the snowmobile trail with plenty of parking! Can’t wait to go again! We also bought drinks and they didn’t have monster which I prefer but they did have red bull, it actually tasted really good!

Was hesitant to even post anything about this place… we wanted to keep this place for ourselves. Started out ok until a big group of bikers came in and the cook left the kitchen to wait on them. Two groups of bikers never got their order ours came out an hour after the couple who ordered right before us. Burgers were good but the chips were hard and cold. Thought it was a fluke until we got talked about it at our next stop and 2 people had similar stories. Take care of your locals first or it will be a long winter!

In town visiting family and we stopped into this local joint they have been meaning to try since moving to the area full time last year. The logo is catchy and we couldn’t help suggest to our awesome waitress that t-shirts that say “We got brined at Pickles” would sell like crazy (and we totally want to cash in on a round of drinks if they make these and sell them). Their food is also pretty amazing. We had great cheese curds and fried pickles (of course) for apps and they were delish. The burgers were amazing and my future mother in law said that the cuban was the best! We see now we need to come back for the fish fry. We will definitely be back (hopefully there will also be shirts) because Pickles is the real dill!
