Was craving a crab boil and gumbo. Usually I will make my own, however, did some googling and ended up here. The menu is fairly extensive. Pricing is reasonable. So I had a crab boil that included crab kegs, scallops and shrimp. Very fresh and seasoned perfectly. The gumbo was better than I expected. It had the right amount of ingredients and very flavorful. The interior of the establishment a little cheesy but service was great. They offer deals on wine. My overall experience was satisfying

Update- the review I gave below was given right after eating here. However, our entire party got very very ill for several days from the food. One ending up going to the E.R. we will never return!

Rating: 10/10. This is definitely the best seafood place we have in the Council Bluffs/Omaha area. They had a full bar inside the restaurant and the food was phenomenal. Crab legs were the best I ever tasted. Also it is inexpensive. I will definitely be going back here soon 🙂

If I could give the food negative stars, I would. Ordered 6 oysters, I literally had to spit them out. Flavor was good. Chunks of what I’m hoping was sand and shell. Sweet potato fries were soggy. I’ve never had such awful food. Martini was good.

Sooooo good.. the boil to share was so worth the price and so much food. Fed 4 easy with leftovers. And I highly recommend the calamari.

I came to eat here with my kids and my mom for my birthday. It was our first time here and I must say the food is very good. The waitress was very rude and short in the beginning and being in the industry 20 plus years it was quite upsetting. She then seemed to lighten up a little when she brought the check. Since I have been a waitress 20 years I felt guilty not tipping so I tipped 20 percent. After we left my daughter asked me how was it to expensive since she helped pay and I went and looked and the waitress added 18% gratuity without telling us or circling it at the bottom. I tried to call right after we left to speak to someone and all I got was an answering machine. I left a message and gave them time to respond but no call back. I’m not sure I will be going back even though the food was good the service wasn’t and I was deceived by the waitress which to me is very unprofessional.

Don’t sleep on the Red Anchor Seafood spot in CB. Very hefty portions. Very umami and savory. Served hot and fresh. Ordered calamari for app and the family platter and it took us two, forty-five minutes to get through it all. We definitely left stuffed. It was very flavorful, great portions, great service. We chose Cajun with Garlic Butter and mild heat level. Definitely worth it. The crawfish was really soft and a little mushy which is the only reason for giving this a four star. Everything else was cooked perfectly! The seating space was clean and well kept. The bathrooms (womens) were out of tp and had to take it from the other stall, but still neat and tidy. Highly recommend. The staff was pleasant and full of smiles. Hope this sticks around!

First vist at Metro-Crossing. Found the food to be quite bland. 1/2 lb of Cajun Sausage was just thin slices of Cajun Sausage mixed in with the Scallops (not a good selection). The 1 lb of scallops and 1/2 lb of sausage were seriously under-weight. Scallops were very small. Corn-on-the-cob was 1/3 of an ear, overcooked and tasteless. Old Fashion cocktail was increased to $9 vice $7.5 when well-whiskey was changed out to well-brandy (why). Incompetent waiter spilled a full glass of water all over our table when “sliding” our meal onto our table. Soaking my wife’s purse and my cell phone. No Apology or excuse. Had to change tables because of the mess. Only redeeming quality was the Clam Chowder. Served in a large bowl and at a perfectly hot temperature. Old Fashion cocktail was good also, just severely overpriced.

I have never been a big fan of seafood but I loved this stuff! I ordered a combo with house sauce spicy level. The flavor was amazing! I have to admit I had to google how to eat my crawfish, but when I figured it out it was delicious. The server was also very helpful and attentive. Definitely will be going back soon!
