Had the Shrimp Thai Curry (red). Went with spice level 3 (1-5). I like it a little spicy but still want to taste the food and this was perfect. Very good.

One of the top 3 Thai placed I have been to in Michigan. The food tastes fresh and authentic, the owners working were extremely friendly and helpful. There was a constant flow of to go orders that night so don’t be surprised of there’s a little bit of a wait on your order, but it’s completely worth it. This small town thai restaurant is a hidden gem. 5 stars!

This was the most authentic Thai food we have ever had! The owners were awesome and very informative. He explained everything on the menu and how it is all made from scratch. This was a random find, but we totally would recommend this restaurant! It was clean and quiet. We ordered the pad Thai and sweet and sour chicken and the flavor was phenomenal!

What an experience. It’s a husband and wife operation. The husband goes into detail about the menu so you have a clear understanding of what you’re ordering. The wife cooks and she is beyond amazing! Very quaint little restaurant. The food was so good!!!! Definitely a must if you travel through Clare!

Spot-on authentic Thai food. We are thrilled to finally have a Thai restaurant nearby. The yellow curry was perfect, and we can say this genuinely, having eaten curry all over the U.S. and the world (yes, including Thailand). We loved the owners, including Chef Kim, who came out and personally asked us how our meal was. Finally — a restaurant that has delicious, exciting grown-up food, instead of the typical “burgers, pizza, nachos, chicken-strips” that we see in the other 99% of Michigan restaurants. We can’t wait to return to Ruk Thai!

Finally a great Thai food restaurant in Central Michigan! Each dish we had was delicious and not expensive. Very nice and relaxing atmosphere and the owners are friendly. We will be returning for more.

Did not expect to find authentic Thai food in the middle of small-town Michigan, but here we are. Food was fresh and very good. Country tunes played on the radio. Dining area is a little small, and it looks like your average restaurant in need of a little TLC.
