This place was cool until one day I walk in to get a steak and cheese like usual. The rep hands me a steak and cheese on a “Hot dog bun” I was in shock. As if one hot dog with steak and cheese would be equivalent to a regular steak and cheese. It’s not like I’m complaining, however if I went to subways they would make one with the regular buns for half the price. After explaining this to the chef he made an unkind statement “ I will give you two hot dog buns with. Steak and cheese if you stop complaining “ I was shocked in disbelief as if I deserved that type of treatment over a sub that was not what I wanted. After that day I never went back. FYI to the chef it’s not about the sub it’s how u came at me. I would’ve had the two hot dogs buns with the steak and cheese however your comment bothered me. I always drive by this deli with disgust and would rather a subway sandwich with no attitude! Thanks and blessings

Very good sandwiches at a reasonable price. The service was a bit slow and the restaurant had a very utilitarian look/feel. But it was definitely good food and I’ll be back for more.

Horrible customer service. Need to concentrate on utilizing active listening skills. I ordered 4 sandwhiches, one sandwhich had one piece of salami on it (paid $8.50 for it), Corned beef sandwhich was dry. First and last time patronizing this establishment. I can understand why this place is empty. Exit out the door.

Horrible customer service. I was waiting on wings I ordered and paid for. Was watching a game in the Deli while waiting, I hear the server yelling COME HERE!! multiple times and I turned around and the server pointed towards me. Told the server that was a disrespectful way to get my attention. I was completely ignored and the server told me to sign my receipt for the wings I PAID for….

Food was awesome! It was late, we had a rough evening of travel and we were hungry. Found this place while walking around and the cook was really cool and made us some fantastic sandwiches. Definitely order the fries, too! Completely turned our night around!

Best Turkey Club I’ve ever had! The man cooking couldn’t be nicer. I asked him to use his discretion for certain things and definitely was the best move. Will definitely be coming back next time I’m in town!

What a find after all the overpriced food in DC…Arthur, aka Chef Boy Arty was awesome..my Rueben was perfect. Wife’s hot Italian was great and the kids loved the burgers and fries. Upstairs bar is so underground ….overall best food in a week ….thanks boy arteeeeee!…u rock and should open a food truck….

Came in at midnight, a bit tipsy, asked the cook for dealer’s choice, whatever he wanted to make for me. He was super nice, said go grab a beer in the next room and food will be ready. Did so, came back, and am currently eating the best sandwich and mozzarella sticks of my life. Amazing service and food, will be back anytime I walk by the shop
