It’s not bad. Has a very old time feel to it but I mean that in the way I jokingly fear the walls MUST be full of asbestos. Food was good but very greasy. The best highlight is the friendly staff though and the cook was very accommodating. My compliments to his handiwork. I would have to come back for a more solid opinion but this is what I got.

The service was missing. I believe when we first got there our drinks were brought to us right away but after that…our service was a half-hour after we got there she asked if we wanted something to eat. After we ordered food another half-hour we finally got it. Improve your service.

It’s a nice restaurant and bar. They serve tasty steaks and are known for their Nachos. There’s usually plenty of seating and the service was top notch. There is a smoking area on the patio.

Hey anyone listening…I am gonna tell ya about a hidden gem in Gladstone…Stanley’s has been here forever. It’s a quiet lil place that’s got a relaxed atmosphere. They have a gas fireplace for a ambience. The food is fantastic…included is a picture of the Ruben and tatter tots..who serves tots these days. They also have a Super Nacho that feeds like 4 easily , and if ya have kiddos they have a soda fountain at hand to fill as needed . Overall I recommend giving this place a try.

A little loud, but the nachos were delish! The perfect thing to share with my dad while he was in town. Note that if you have any dairy allergy, basically everything on their menu has dairy involved in one way or another. (I didn’t remove any stars for that because not everywhere has to have dairy free options, but it felt like a pertinent fact to mention.)

Everytime I’ve gone to Stanley’s formally Magellans. My parents were friends with the owners. Anyways since very young man. In tge last year I have been coming alot and we spend 45 to 50 bucks a pop. And drink pop. But one thing that bugs me. Never 1 sporting anything on TV. Fox 12 news, Paramount TV. People don’t go to the bar or pub to watch the news or Yellowstone. They go to watch sports and play pool and video poker. All part of the experience but it’s in how you see it.

The the food was excellent, the portions were large and the service was great. We were served by nice young man named Tanner. He was extremely polite and friendly, and did a great job interacting with our 6 year old son. When my son asked if the kid’s milk was refillable, he went back to the kitchen, asked and then came back and did a great job interacting and telling him it was indeed refillable. When we got the food, the portions were quite large. We actually took some home, which is unusual for me. The prices were pretty good, especially considering the portion sizes. I would not hesitate to come back here. The food was great, and the service was outstanding. We’ll definitely be back.

First off this has never happened before but we ordered the Super Nacho and the kitchen forgot us. They went on a smoke break and the only reason we know this is because the waiter could be seen yelling at the staff and pointing at our table. We sat there for over 30 minutes with nothing on our table. We give the waiter 5 stars but the rest of the crew 2 stars. The super nacho is fantastic. See our pictures.
