Loved this restaurant!!! I really had a nice experience and evening. The food and drinks were delicious, and the service was stunning. They have great options and variety. The recommendations Steve G gave us were absolutely amazing. He went above and beyond treating us really good. They have a great atmosphere and nice music. If you go during the weekend I highly recommend making reservations in advance since get pretty busy. They don’t have valet. The also have a really nice area if you have large groups. They are a little bit pricey but if you’re looking to eat good quality food you’ll have to pay.

absolutely LOVED this place! Our waiter Rafiel (not sure that’s how you spell his name) was amazing! He definitely knew the menu and what would work best for every different person, and had great recommendations! He made mine and my husband’s experience so great and personable. Tried the happy hour eatery and it was absolutely delicious! Be mindful that these are small portions so if you’re hungry, you may need order more than one dish! The tuna tartar tacos were crunchy and fresh! The salmon in the spoon was probably my favorite. Calamari was perfect crisp and came with two dipping sauces. I didn’t get to try the steak fries but from some feedback, I heard it was also delicacy. I definitely recommend this place for happy hour if you’re looking for a delicious small bite!

Made reservations for Sunday evening for a party of 4, plus a stroller. Not sure I needed to make it but I would encourage it, just in case. We were seated right away but it took a good 10 minutes before anybody came to the table. We watched the people that were seated before us get their drinks and apps before anybody came to us. We finally had someone come by and he said he would be helping before our server got to us. That server never showed up and the initial guy took over, which I feel was fine because he did a great job.

We went here with a wedding party last night, our server (Matt I think) was pretty nice and very knowledgeable. But honestly, such a disappointment on food quality ~ the kitchen got three of our steaks mixed up. I ordered a medium steak and it was overcooked, my friend’s was med-well and it was unfortunately undercooked more bloody than mine. My fiancé’s was well-done when he ordered a medium rare. How does this happen at a nice place when they ask $100.00 per steak?

An extremely expensive disappointment! The service was extremely slow. My $40 per oz, supposedly Japanese Wagyu steak was just a blob of fat. Every cocktail was 21 bucks and was served in minuscule glasses. I’ve been to hundreds of steak houses all over the country and I have spent a lot of money on great steak. But this was extremely disappointing and I will never ever go back. The glass of wine I ordered with my steak had debris and pieces of cork in it

Blake writes: Dined at STK Steakhouse in San Diego July 1st 2023. We had 7:00 PM reservatiions and were seated promptly near the hostess stand…great table. I had a special birthday surprise for my lovely companion. From the minute we entered the restaurant we had a fabulous experience. The manager, Tara was an example of professionalism, warm and greeting and extremely attractive, composed and well dressed. Our Server, Ruben was absolutely wonderful, professional, great personality, obviously very well trained. The salads were superb and crisp. I asked for our steaks to be Pittsburgh charred, and they were done so to perfection. There was no lack of entertainment, as there was a huge Birthay Celebration for a group of about 20 on the massive table that was in the middle across from us, with great music and everyone enthusiastic and happy. Overall, it was a wonderful evening topped off by a visit upstairs to the STK rooftop. We will be back again and again and again, Thank you Tara and Ruben for making this a wonderful evening to remember forever.
