Honestly this is my favorite place to get a sub!! All of the ingredients are super fresh and the people working there are super cool, friendly and helpful!! The owners even came out to say hello and to make sure I was happy with my order. That’s such great service! The store is very well kept and always has all of my favorite ingredients. We got the biggest sandwich to snack on and it fed 3 adults and 2 kids-that thing is huge! Highly recommend!!!

This little sandwich shop is tucked into a shopping center off the freeway. They have a great smell from the moment you walk in. The breads are soft and flavorful. Lots of good and fresh ingredients. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back for more sandwiches.

I love Submarina for the options and quality of food and I’m sadly disappointed in this location since the new owner/owners took over. Too many shortcuts have surfaced at this location just as it has at many other Submarina locations that have sold to new owners. #1 avocados are cut in the incorrect direction and thinner than they are supposed to be (per corporate training) giving the customer hardly any avocado on their sandwich which has become a search and rescue for the taste buds due to the small avocado pieces not slices being so small. #2 onions cut into tiny pieces so the onion pieces fall off the sandwich while biting into their sandwich. #3 the slices of tomato and cheeses seem a little thinner.

This location is not hygienic at all. The employees wear gloves, but they touch literally EVERYTHING with those gloves and then touch your sub with the same gloves. One of the ladies working there touched the entry door handle with her gloves and went back behind the counter and made a sub. Do you know how many people touched that handle every day and how dirty it is? She touched her hair, the register, and answered the phone, but didn’t change her gloves at all. I thought the purpose of wearing gloves is to keep the subs hygienic, but I think they wear gloves to keep their hands clean.Gross.

Called in an Order, I only had a short time frame before my husband had to work a 12 hrs shift. Showed up 20 min later and they hadn’t made the sandwich. Waited 10 more minutes but they still didn’t make it and were only helping other people so my husband went to work with no food. The reason people call in orders is because they are on a short time frame for lunches and such. No I don’t think I deserve to cut people in line but when you just help new people walking in the door after we made the order 30 minutes ago and you expect us to wait another 30 minutes and be late to work and me wasting gas to drive there. Thank you for inspiring me to make my own sandwichs they tast so much better and saves alot of money!!!!

EDIT: Since selling the store, the new owner has yet to get his feet under him. He’s made good cosmetic upgrades, but his staff could desperately use training, management, and regular meat/bread stock. Service has slowed in this situation and Submarina is no longer the place for a quick lunch. Newer is not currently better.
