DJ is excellent as were the wait staff. We had 2 tables with 22 people and our waitress Amanda was outstanding. She had help bringing dishes out, but took all of the drink, appetizer and food orders. Everything was served promptly, everything was hot and we all could not have been more pleased. The menu options were good as was meal prep. I highly recommend this place for a fun & relaxing time with good food and drinks. Margaritas were EXCELLENT.

We enjoyed lunch here on a Saturday. It wasn’t overly busy and we’re seated without a wait. There is a 20$ parking fee. They do give a ticket to be able to use 20$ towards a purchase in the gift shop. If you’re going there to enjoy lunch and beach or the live music later in the day it’s not a bad idea to use the parking, but just for lunch find alternate parking. The food came out extremely fast so if you’re in a hurry or want to get to the beach quickly, they did a good job getting us in and out. We had snapper po boys which were a little in the dry side. Also had crab legs which were seasoned well and had quite a bit of butter or oil on them. Definitely needed plenty of napkins. The atmosphere is as enjoyable and was the DJ had just come out so I’m sure it was about to get better! The gift shop had lots of souvenirs labeled with “The Hangout”,- there actually wasn’t much that didn’t have it. We enjoyed our visit and would go back.

Huge location. Family/kid oriented during our time. Wonderful atmosphere (they have live music most nights, but not when we went). Never waited for a refill or anything. Fully staffed and busy (in the best way)! As my fiancée and I were eating, we saw several parties come and go. Rapid fire style! Food was excellent, I got the Snapper Platter and she got the Snow Crab. All in all 5/5 Stars. Great place to go with a family or friends!

The HANGOUT is always a great time! No matter what time of the year they offer fun activities for the whole family or a girls night out! I absolutely love their burgers and I tried one of their cocktails for the first time and it was delicious. 10/10 recommend but not if you want to talk a lot because there is always some loud live music or a person on the mic making the atmosphere fun. You can always go to the beach after eating tho to enjoy some quieter conversations. Definitely gotta give this one a try, it’s a must in this area!

Fun atmosphere on the beautiful Gulf Shore beach. Cool vibe, open restaurant that brings the beach inside. Staff have fun with the guest and we saw some birthday guests dancing on the tables. It’s Definitely a must stop when in Gulf Shore!

The place was packed. We were told the wait was over an hour and turned out to be true but we didn’t care. The band was great and the drinks at the bar was great and the growd was great and you get the picture. Definitely not a quiet meal place. My down side was the food. Ordered snapper. Over cooked and over seasoned. You got to figure with the amount of food that went through that kitchen it was good enough. Highly recommend for a beach experience.

We had a party of 20 and it was really busy! The reason for the four star service I gave. It had a great a get up and go atmosphere. Live band,, and plenty of food for the money. Friendly service, and fun for all ages. All around awesome place!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
