We are visiting from TN and saw the reviews and decided to try it. Was not disappointed. The food was delicious. All the staff are very friendly and made you feel at home. Even the owner came around to check on us. He even fixed our little one something that was not on the menu. Would definitely come back if in the area again.

3/2/2023: I ordered a turkey sandwich with okra and potato salad. The turkey tasted so fresh and was the best turkey sandwich I’ve ever had as well as the BBQ sauce. The potato salad was absolutely amazing as well.

1st time here!!! Not our last!! The portion size was generous and so good. The owner was at the chop block, he greeted us, and checked on us after we ate. We could tell it was full of regulars 😀 To top it off, there was live music! See y’all next time

The experience at this place is like a scene out of a movie! The owner is very hands-on and clearly cares about his customers, which is rare not only in the barbecue world but the restaurant world as a whole now! His animation is contagious, so his staff is just as awesome. All of the customers have smiles on their faces. Quite simply, they make it look easy. All their brisket is Prime & has a solid bark. I’m not even a pork fan and have to say the pork ribs are done just right. They are rubbed with something amazing (all their sauces and rubs are made in-house) and fall right off the bone. They serve everything right out of the pit so it’s always hot when served! The desserts are amazing and homemade too… (shh… ask them how! ) As a connoisseur who has been to literally over 100 barbecue restaurants, I can genuinely say this place is one of the best. I am thrilled to have found it.

Really good barbecue. Price is reasonable considering the portion size (I had the Texas sandwich.) The house barbecue sauce very tasty, slight kick to it. I will definitely return to try more of the menu! Helpful friendly staff.

I had the Showin off platter that feeds 2-3 people. It’s quite the steal for $40. The meal includes brisket, pulled pork, ribs and sausage plus 4 sides. The cornbread was extra but well worth it. The portions were huge, the service was amazing and the folks behind the counter and in the restaurant treated you like you were family. We walked into the all you can eat ribs night from 5-8pm on a Saturday plus they had a gentleman playing all the hits. The music was great by itself but add that to the food and place and I will definitely be back again.

Simple perfection from the prime brisket, perfected turkey and smoked bologna!! The entire staff is welcoming and friendly. Terry makes it a point to talk with every customer at least 3 to 4 times… he has the best lines too…a special place ran by a special man!! Don’t forget the pecan pie… Terry’s mom bakes them fresh everyday!! If you haven’t been here… Your BBQ self will Thank You!!

The atmosphere is laid back and the food is made fresh to order every time. I had the brisket and Turkey which were both excellently smoked and they provided the perfect portions in the 2 meat platter. I really like their house made habanero BBQ sauce – It has the right amount of spice and I like the thin consistency of their sauces. The potato salad is out of this world and I couldn’t stop eating the cornbread throughout the meal. I’ll be back!

Thank you Terry Sullivan for helping me celebrate my mother’s birthday! The bbq speaks for itself—melt in your mouth brisket, succulent ribs (my fav even as a rare pork consumer), tender jalapeño sausage, marvelous Mac and cheese, and a nice variety of sauces! I now clearly see why some say this is the best in Texas. Can’t say I’ve tried them all yet, but if this spot ain’t on your DFW best BBQ list, you’re messing up. 10/10!
