Well, if I’m honest it’s about on par with Publix sushi. It’s good, but it’s not great. Don’t expect a traditional sushi or hibachi experience.

I saw this place was open yesterday and grabbed one of the conveniently placed paper menus outside their entrance, thinking I may have found my new sushi place. We came and got lunch today and was greeted by friendly staff and a clean and modern seating area. We ordered 2 clear soups, steamed pork dumplings, spicy salmon sushi roll, spicy tuna sushi roll, and the chicken hibachi plate. The soup and sushi came out first and was amazed at the portion sizes of the soups. The soup was very refreshing and topped with mushrooms. The sushi was delicious, especially when topped with a little wasabi. The steamed dumplings came out shortly after and I was amazed at the flavor of the dumplings. They felt very light but were flavorful, especially when paired with the sauce. The chicken hibachi was delicious and I loved how the vegetables were very lightly sauced allowing the flavor of the vegetables to come through. The portion size was large, leaving me with enough leftovers for another meal.

Great food! This place just recently opened and I’ve been looking for something just like it. All the other hibachi places are expensive for take out. I’ve spent over $80 on two hibachi entrees and and a sushi roll at other local hibachi places and only paid $39 for basically the same thing here. However, just because it’s cheaper doesn’t mean it lacks in quality. The food tasted just like (if not better) than any full dine in experience I’ve had. This will be my permanent go to hibachi place while I live in Beaufort.
