Entree tasted delicious. The round puffed wheat circles were not great. I prefer to have chips and salsa.

Incredibly authentic, delicious, affordable food. Excellent service, but knowing some Spanish will be helpful as a customer. My favorite restaurant in Anderson, and one of the best Latin American restaurants I’ve ever been to.

I’ve had many mojarra before this restaurant, let me tell you this place by FAR is better than all! That is saying a lot! The fish was seasoned to perfection where it didn’t really need sauce or anything else to go along with it. I definitely will be coming back to this place. If you’re at all off put by the location or how the restaurant may look on the outside, you’re definitely going to be missing out. The food was prepared with love in my books. Rice, beans, I really wish others have eaten here & know the joy of having a well cooked meal. There are many out there imitating Mexican food, this place has exceeded my expectations & elevated to cuisine type of restaurant. Can’t wait to visit again!

It’s not the greatest restaurant (I’m talking about how it looks) but the food is superb.

Needs a fresher and cleaner vibe. Floor was dirty and the restaurant had only one guest other than myself. It should have been pretty easy to alter the complaints above but I will make sure that the main focus should be the food. The food was 5 star. Steak tacos were fabulous and the quesadilla was delicious. I do not know what the fried chip-like appetizer was but it was not a normal Mexican restaurant staple. Food was great and my service was great.

It’s GREAT Mexican food! I’ve had Mexican food in Arizona, Texas, and California and I can say without hesitation that this is right up there with the best of those! So surprised and incredibly happy to find it in Anderson. It’s on my replay list for sure!

Update: Back for the third time after a year. Food is still amazing. Had their yummy tamales. Haven’t had a chance to dine in. The weather is warming up, hope to be able to dine at their deck.

Raw bacon on burrito, no sauce…tasted like bbq chicken. Bad. Ordered beef taco, got fried tough cut up steak (??) Street taco with onion and cilantro. Bathrooms were a disaster, restaurant not clean, i guess the health inspector hasn’t been around in awhile. Definitely will not be back, wondered who rated for a 4.5?

This is the most authentic Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to. Menu is all Spanish, but not hard to navigate. Staff is friendly. It’s a tiny hole in the wall restaurant and it’s tucked away like a hidden gem. We love it.
