Good eats for $3, variety and large portions, good music and decent drinks. Only downer is some of these vendors dont offer napkins or utensils. Word of advice, pack your own! But honestly one of my fave fests.

My understanding is that this is the second largest “Taste” in the Chicagoland area after The Taste of Chicago. I attend every year and with one good reason, Excellent! Melrose Park has a very diverse ethnic population with both Italians and Hispanics playing major roles. It’s also well known for its culinary diversity, most of which is truly authentic due to the large number of family-owned establishments. These are old-world original recipes prepared with the pride that only accompanies the definition of “family-owned”. So take a break from the large nationwide corporate franchises and re-experience a Taste of Home. There’s something here for everyone, including the most experienced consumer with the most discerning taste buds. Combine all that with its Carnival, LIVE Music and Free admission and parking, and you have a Winner on All Levels. I highly recommend it as well as the “Experience”.

♥️ My favorite tradition ♥️ a pleasant reminiscence of what Melrose park used to be and a wonderful representation that it still has it’s old roots!!!! Excellent food, wholesome people, and I had a ton of fun playing bingo even though I didn’t win ! See you next year !!

Great place 4 a taste. They hv a large variety of foods and desserts @ reasonable prices. Not like the taste of Chicago where they charge $8 4 a bite.

Parking is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. Drove around for 40 minutes, spoke to 5 people who have no clue about where to park, and just went back home. I have been attending the fest for years and every year it gets worse and worse. Last time for me . Never again

Friendly, clean, orderly. All good is homemade and reasonably priced. Eat there or they have food containers to bring food home.

Good food. Cheap prices, nothing is priced at more than $3.00. Good entertainment on multiple stages. No entry or cover charges. Great fireworks. Fun rides for the little kids.

Great place to go and get some decent and sometimes homemade Italian food. Rides for kids are a bonus and they have carnival games as well. Have been going there for 30+ years. Too bad it is closed this year because of covid
