Just arrived in McLean and wanted some comfort food. My husband found this place which was not too far from the Marriott hotel. It was exactly what we were looking for. Service was great and food was so spot on. Bread was nice and warm and went well with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Our salad Bella Napoli was awesome and Chicken Parm incredible (ok you can see that I forgot to take a photo till we were almost done!). Chocolate mousse dessert nicely wrapped up our dinner. Highly recommended if you are looking for a causal Italian home-cook restaurant.

The food is amazing! Service was excellent! My server, Salim, was very attentive. The pasta and deserts are made from scratch. I had the Pollo Cardinale with a house salad and pasta. The tiramisu was light and topped of my meal perfectly!

Our spur of the moment decision to turn into the Italian Oven was richly rewarded with a wonderful experience! Quite possibly the most thoughtful, kind and able waiter of all time, Selim, anticipated our every want and need, while relating the long and interesting history of the ristorante. Owner Salvatore was so very gracious, as well. We had the delicious lasagna, which was loaded with meat sauce and a sausage, and yummy cannolis. It’s rare these days to enjoy a true family-run restaurant where the staff happily makes every effort to make your experience great. We will be back!

Horrible experience! I wanted to try this place because it’s new. I made $100 order online (on their website!) for delivery. After 45 minutes, they cancelled order. I called. They said they don’t have Internet service. (Who offers online ordering on their website without Internet service?) They wait for the Door Dash person to arrive to tell them the order and then they start making the order! (They blamed the Door Dash driver for not being able to tell them my order to explain why they cancelled. Again, why have online ordering on your website?) On top of that, they charged my credit card!! I called back, and they said that’s not their fault and I have to figure out how to get a credit from their platform. No customer service or accountability. Always blamed others. No offer to make things right. There are too many good pizza places in the area for me to give them another try.
