I visited here after a hike around cripple creek with my pup and it was a nice little surprise. They have a small back area that faces chipita park and the bar opens to the inside space. Perfect place for a burger or hot dog, (or even a brat) with options of 6 different themed style toppings. I had a traditional Chicago dog that didn’t disappoint and I definitely want to try this place for weekend brunch.

Seriously great place to eat, drink & chill! From the outside it looks like it could’ve been a stagecoach stop in the past! Good local beer selection on tap, awesome burger, friendly staff & owner. Outdoor seating, fire pits with Adirondack chairs, free Cornhole games . . . good music . . . Can’t say enough good things. Loved it!

Decided to get on my Ryker this morning to get some wind therapy and on my way up 24 saw the Mad Hatter Saloon and I am so happy I stopped because I got the best green chili smothered breakfast burrito and the service and atmosphere was amazing…. Will definitely go back very soon!

Hands down best Bloody Mary I’ve ever had! Deliciously spicy with all the good toppings and then some! Bomb menu too, from green chili breakfast burritos to loaded burgers, cheesesteaks and brats. Awesome live music regularly, and you can’t beat the view of the peaks from the patio. Definitely stop in to this gem on the pass!

I drive by here everyday and finally stopped in this weekend with family. Great place. Good atmosphere. Great service. And killer food!! Had a big ole double cheeseburger with all kinds of spicy stuff on it. I couldn’t even finish it. And waffle fried with chili and cheese. Definitely satisfied my “inner fat kid”. 10/10 will be back and recommend to others.

We stopped in on our way out of town, and Dennis, the owner was absolutely phenomenal and accommodating. Even on his day off, he still went out of his way to make sure our experience was five stars and then some. It is a new business, they opened in June/July, so stop in and show your support to this awesome place!

Was just passing through on a trip from Iowa. This place was great! The bartender was so friendly and upbeat. It truly made for a great experience. Also love the location and building itself it has a nice fresh vibe. They also offer seating outside near a fire as you take in the scenic view. If you haven’t yet you must try this place!
