The Seafood Palace did a phenomenal job catering the food for my stepfathers repast. The level of professionalism, quantity, quality of food, and service rendered was unmatched. I strongly recommend them for any event that you may have. They won’t disappoint and they will give a fair price. I greatly appreciate all that you did for my family during our time of need. Ouch…. my first time doing carry out from here. Was super excited to try this spot. Ordered the crab cake dinner. Crab cake was just ok.. but the dinner had one cake. Was surprised as for 17$ was expecting two cakes. I should have just got a crab cake sandwich. Fries were tasteless and the slaw was cabbage with oil. Added shrimp with the dinner and it was bland. Super disappointed with the whole experience and being a Saturday evening you would think the food would be top of the line coming out of there. Being in food service I know things sometimes are off so will give this place another try. Sure hope the next time is better

I’ve been here twice and everytime the food is fresh and deliciously cooked. The pound cake is too die for even when I’m stiffed from the perfectly cooked fish i still find room for the cake. The fried oysters are a must have too

I’ve eaten here 2 times before and the food was superb. But, this last time my shrimp was under seasoned and not cleaned properly which was particularly disappointing since the restaurant was empty when we arrived. For a restaurant boasting the name seafood company, it is quiet disappointing to have shrimp that was not deveined.

A disappointment to be sure. Service was very slow despite there being only a few tables of people. It took our food over 30 minutes to be served. The crab cakes were simply bad – almost no crab and all filler. Don’t waste your time- go to another town to eat.

Hands down one of the best, if not the best restaurant in Tappahannock. Definitely a hidden gem. I travel from D.C. to Tappahannock at least once a month and getting a bite here is always on my to-do list. I wish this small business much success and prayerfully it will grow beyond the owners dreams!
