Partnering with local farms and fisheries, we will bring an unmatched level of quality and dedication to the area. Using eco-friendly, biodegradable, packaging and containers made in America, and sustainably raised fish, meat, and produce whenever possible, our aim is to create new exciting food, reinvigorate old classics, and put our own spin on some local favorites!

After a lovely day visiting historic Clinton and working up an appetite from shopping, my boyfriend and I decided to eat at one of the local restaurants. We choose this lovely restaurant, over looking the Raritan River, and it turned out to the Best decision of the day. From customer service, ambience, parking, The view, indoor dinning, outdoor and semi in closed dinning, there are plenty of seating options to enjoy your meal. We started off with their homemade iced honey mint tea and fried calamari. Both were delicious. For our main dishes, I had the Thompson burger, I believe the was the name, which has 2 perfectly fried onion rings, their homemade bbq sauce, bacon, lettuce, tomato which come with fries, but I opted for their Old Bay seasoning tater tots, were just right and flavorsome. Burger was juicy as well. My boyfriend had the fish and chips, which he enjoyed enormously. He also said their tartar sauce was scrumptious. I can only imagine how the rest of their menu, based on our three options. We look forward to returning very soon.

Excellent restaurant. Very low key, definitely deserves a great crowd. The best calamari I’ve ever had, and they cook a mean fish and lobster. If I’m ever close to it again I’ll definitely be returning.

Stopped in for a late dinner on a Monday night, and I’m happy we did. The food was excellent and quality ingredients. My burger was well made and my wife loved her lobsters roll, even my daughters chicken fingers were tasty. We sat by the river and we loved it.

Their Connecticut style Lobster roll is out of this world. Easily my new favorite food. Lobster is cooked to perfection, roll is buttery and pillow soft, the hints of lemon and little chunks of celery make it unbelievable. What really ties it together is the seasoning. Then their homemade chips on the side are crispy and light but filling at the same time. Everything is just so fresh and delicious. I would get one every day if I could! And not to mention, the service is top tier.

Our experience matches the better reviews of this restaurant. The interior is clean and casual with seating indoor and outside. The cool desert/seafood case up front is filled with quality products. The live lobster tank looks to mostly offer 1 to 1.25 pound lobsters. We had the excellent lobster roll with choice of salad, chips or fries and a fish and chips.The beer batter was not greasy or overly thick on the fish and it was quite enjoyable. The fries were tasty and my wife loved the lobster roll. We shared a flan for desert that was excellent. The table next to us ordered the Mexican street corn on the cob, declared it “fantastic” and said we MUST order it the next time we came. Thomson’s is not inexpensive, but the prices are in line with the quality products we had. I felt it was an excellent lunch and presented a value for what we paid. I will certainly be returning as I frequently go up and down I-78.

i stopped here yesterday for lunch and i had the shrimp and scallops over polenta that had sweet corn and bacon in it. the scallops were cooked perfectly the dijon mustard dots added a burst of flavor, it was so good bite after bite..

A great place for great food. This was our first time here and we are so happy we stopped by for lunch. The food was fresh and tasted amazing. The restaurant is very welcoming and clean. Got to chat with the owners and they are extremely nice. Definitely worth a visit. We will certainly be back!

Tristan and his partner are dynamic as chefs and represent this Restaurant with finesse, elegance and superlative service! The ambiance and decor alone is powerfully inviting.Its clean everywhere.Beginning with the appetizers to the entree the palate is pleased; quite an extreme feat and your are able to purchase sides, meats, soups and desserts prepackaged for home.The flan is rich and tasty.There were 3 of us in total to dine on luciously season crabs cakes, salad, home made potato chips, roasted green beans with a hint of garlic cloves and I chose a plump, well seasoned and delectable Salisbery steak that I was not able to enjoy exclusively for the aroma vaptivated my dining guests who wanted more of the ample beef.The staff is trained, affable and service oriented.The efficient wait staff can also serve you on an enclosed veranda( outside area with heat lamps to warm you) A beautiful site which reminded me of places in Paris for outside dining.We are approximately 45 minutes from this business but have already decided to return to this family styled establishment (with corner settings for intimate dinining as well.) on Sunday. You will revisit once you have experienced the culinary offerings prepared with care and extraordinary skill.

Great food, great atmosphere, friendly people. We went here tonight for the first time with our little one in tow. They had some nice dishes and refreshing drinks available. Easy up front ordering, and nice tables inside and outside to sit. I had the fried fish sandwich which was excellently prepared with a TON of fish on it. We also had the fish tacos, and the Mac and cheese bites for the little one. A bit pricey, but as I said during our meal, the food is actually worth the price – I think the dollar to value makes good sense here.
