We stopped in, after being in the area for a swim meat. Our waitress was pleasant and quick with our drinks and order. The place was clean. The busiest part of the restaurant was the hibachi grills, but we chose a regular table. We ordered a couple rolls and some tempura. Their miso soup is nothing to write home about, it was quite watered down. The vegetable tempura, some were still doughy or had uncooked batter consistency on a few. The rolls, were goodm but most at the table thought it was over sauced. For being land locked, this place will suffice for your sushi fix. If in the area I probably wouldn’t come back again.

Very clean restaurant and bathrooms. The chef was fun and interacted with the table. My 8 year old nephew thought he was the coolest. The waitress was very quick. At the end of the “cooking show” we felt very rushed to leave. She brought the to go boxes and tickets as we were actively taking bites. Everyone was relaxed, talking and enjoying ourselves and they wanted us to go away quickly.

I come here with all the time with my family. Everyone loves it!! I love sitting by the grill. Seeing the chefs make your food is so amazing! And especially if they’re in a good mood and like to play around and have fun. The food is phenomenal!! Especially the rice!! Everyone comes here for the rice. 😉

I have to come here with my family occasionally because they like it, but it’s one of my least favorite places in Hobbs. The service is not great. The wait time is pretty inexcusable honestly, and the prices are outrageous. The food is just okay. Unless you’re a fan of waiting hours, just avoid this place.

Food was terrible and the service was even worse. Horrible waitress and very rude. I asked multiple times if I could substitute thr rice for vegetables because I am diabetic and it seemed like she didn’t understand English. She ended bringing me a plate full of rice which I couldnt eat but got charged for it anyways. The prices are outrageous. Avoid this place if you can.

This place is a good place to eat at and enjoy your family and friends but take out they give the seconds seams like. The walnut shrimp is very dry so not order unless you tell the to put some sauce on it and if you call and tell them they will tell you that Tharp do not give another order. Just get a discount when the next time you come in and it’s both that much of a discount.

They cook was great. They good was good except for what came from the back. It was cold!! I think it had to do a lot with our server. She did not do a good job at all. We had over six in our group and don’t think she deserved the $30 gratuity tip.
