Okay where to begin. First off the staff was rude. The man taking my order at the register I had to tell him three times what I wanted. The waitress when she delivered it to me said absolutely nothing and basically slammed it on the table.

This place has went completely down hill since it has different owners. I asked for a small egg drop soup with extra scallions because the new people don’t even put scallions in the egg drop soup like old people used to. They charge you for every little thing, they charged me 50 cent just to put some scallions in my soup. I asked for extra and there was barely any in there. The egg rolls aren’t even close as good as they used to be. I have been going to this place since I was a child, the owners knew me and my family every time we walked in the doors. And the crab rangoons the new people make are disgusting. I don’t know what they have done to that place but they have absolutely ruined my favorite childhood restaurant. If you don’t want to get charged for every little thing I recommend going somewhere else.

I had my dog groomed at the Doggy Parlor and stopped by TR’S Oriental on my way home. I called in the order from the groomer, drove there, paid, and within 5 minutes, they had brought my food out to the picnic table out front. It’s not unusual for us to eat there once or twice a week! LOVE THEM!!

Me and whole family been going here for around 15 years and the food never disappoints. Great environment and homey feel because it is family owned. I’ve been to many Chinese restaurants and this is hand down the best one in the Greenville area. So many unique options and authentic flavors! The prices are affordable and the we never wait too long for our food compared to other places. Very short wait time. Friendly and helpful staff that deserve a raise. They can always make accommodations for allergies or special requests.

Really good food! Indoor dining is basically a table to sit at and eat tour take out. The service was super quick and hot. We had to wait for everything to cool before diving in! The flavor was spot on and the best I have had in a long time!

I ordered general Tsos and sesame chicken for my family and they were both very watered down. Normally it’s a thicker sauce, but it was very runny. The chicken wasn’t crispy either and just very mushy. The fried rice was also very dry. They also got my order wrong and charged me for their bigger portion, which we didn’t want. TR Oriental used to be the place we’d go when we had a craving for Chinese food, but has consistently gone down hill our last few visits. We won’t be returning.

I got sesame chicken and the chicken wasn’t cooked all the way on the inside, when I was trying to explain this, they kept trying to say the lid made the chicken soggy, or the rice mushy, I picked it up less than 5 minutes after it was done. I eat Chinese frequently and have never had this problem. I wouldn’t risk eating here, save your money because they won’t even make it right so I wasted money on a meal that’s going straight to the trash can
