We had a late lunch at this restaurant after swimming at Kailua bay. We tried the kailua pork fries appetizer, a sandwich, the ahi katsu cake, and a mix of pork and tuna. Everything was very tasty. We also tried some of their cocktails, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, all very good. The staff was also friendly and the atmosphere was nice. I recommend it!

This was a cool pace not to far from the Beach. The Lychee Lager was light and refreshing. The Kalua Pork fries was ok. The Kalua Pork Sandwich was good. The Irie chicken sandwich was good also. The sweet potato pie was interesting. Sorry no pic must try it though.

2023: Near K- bay Hawaii (3 miles). Drink and app specials 3-6! We had the Irie Jamaican chicken with rice and kimchi as the sides. Rate this a 7/10. The ahi red curry was soft and flavorful. The curry was plentiful so didn’t run out of “juice”. Rate this 9/10. The Mai Tai came in a cool glass and was delicious. Rate it 8/10. The sautéed mushroom appetizer was sprinkled with cheese. And BACON! Yum! 10/10.

Went to Uahi Island Grill for lunch after a day at the beach in Kailua. Food was good. Entrees were slightly under salted but adjusted with salt, otherwise well cooked. Duck fell off the bone. The pork on the fries app was delicious. The lillikoi cheesecake was very light and tasty while the sweet potato pie was also good but heavier. We got 2 cocktails each. Drinks were underwhelming and service was ok. I would probably recommend it as a good option for Kailua meals.

The food was excellent! We got out good quickly, and the presentation was beautiful. Table service was just okay, but the place was pretty busy. Featured on the Food Network’s Diners,, Drive-ins and Dives.

Very chill place for a delicious lunch before and after activities. Huge fan of the garlic chicken and Red Fish Curry. The staff were friendly and the cheesecake was light, fluffy. The peanut butter brownie was delightfully rich. Would totally recommend.

Nice, upscale dining in Kailua town. Patio and inside dining. Parking in a pay public lot, or on the street. Good service. Two of us had poke bowls, and one had the red curry fish, which is very nicely presented. Two choices of poke, both were pretty good. The important thing is how the fish is cut in the kitchen. This was cut well with little or no tough membrane.
