I went here on Valentine’s day with a group of four. I made a reservation and was looking to try a new place. The service was terrible. We had to ask for more drinks or refills, after waiting a good 15 minutes just for her to check on us. They seemed to offer many many beers on tap, but I was in the mood for wine. So I had wine by the glass which wasn’t very good for the price. The food was good in some areas, but not good in others. The corn bread tasted like stinky feet, but the baked chicken was quite good. All in all, I don’t plan on coming here again, but I hope they improve their service as a minimum.

We love this place. Amazing food, and the owners are so nice. I had a burger my first time here, and a catfish sandwich my second time. Both were awesome. Got a kale salad on the side each time, nice sweet dressing and little pieces of peanut – yum. Full bar plus a large selection of beers and wines (try the blood-orange/hibiscus lager). Kind of expensive for the Davis/Sac area, otherwise no complaints at all.

Had the double lobster tail dinner. Very reasonably priced for a decent set of tails! Try the homemade cornbread. It’s got tiny jalapeno specks but you don’t get much zing so it just zests it up nicely. Wife had filet mignon and found it delicious and cooked exactly as ordered. Service was very attentive and friendly, and chef even made me a special fruit dessert on learning of my dairy sensitivity. Great people, great food, what’s not to like!!

DO NOT GO HERE! CHECK YELP REVIEWS! We made reservations to view the Mayweather vs. McGregor fight. When we made a reservation we asked for a good table to view the fight. When we arrived only one of us would be able to view the fight from that table. When I inquired about other seating options I was instatly greeted with confrontation. Eventually we did get a better seat. The menu was limited for the special event. Unfortunately two of the four appetizers were french fries. I got the french frie chicken nachos?? Not good. Well then I realized the NY steak I ordered also came with french fries. I kindly asked if I can have mash potatoes instead. That was a big no! So then the plates come and my daughters plate has mashed potatoes. Again I asked if I could purchase a side of mash potatoes..No again! Am I in the twilight zone? So I cut into my steak…it was well done, dry and chewy. So I sent it back. The owner visited my table confrontational and rude, to the point of making a scene in front of the other patrons. He reluctantly made me a new steak. He personally delivered the steak to my table and walked away. I cut into it and it was RARE! I decided to not complain and just eat it as I didn’t want anymore confrontation. I took thr first bite and it was ice cold, I instantly spit it out. Felt the inside of the steak and it was ice cold..not exaggerating…cold! Sorry not eating that. When I reported it to the staff they couldn’t have been ruder. I was told “well what do you want me to do”. I asked if I could have a medium steak..The owner said ” we can’t afford to make you three steaks” well talk to your chef, not me! You bafoon! I asked if I could have the chicken…no! This is the “NO” restaurant. We left.

They have the biggest burgers in town, and if you ask for the banana flambe for dessert, be prepared for a nice show. The beef burgers are really good, the fish ones though don’t have enough fish.

Great food in a very comfortable place. I sat at the bar and ate a very good caesar salad, very good mussels, and outstanding escargot with Danish blue cheese. Best escargot ever! Very nice & friendly staff, too.
