The food was sensational! We came for the Birria Taco hype and were not disappointed. Though cooked to excellence and bursting with crazy savoriness by themselves, the flavor train truly hits when dipped into the broth.

Great soft tacos – really appreciated the heavy hand on the white cheese with dark-meat chicken. Homemade hot sauce is richly flavored. Nachos may be the best deal. Cool spot, conveniently located inside The Veil.

Got the Chorizo Quesadilla and Chicken Tacos. Both were very good but the quesadilla is incredibly greasy as long as you’re alright with that. The place is very modern almost to an uncomfortable extent but well maintained and classy.

Some of the greatest tacos in Richmond. Always on point and best enjoyed with beer from Veil. They offer to go options as well which is especially nice on days you really don’t want to cook or deal with other members of the human race.

The tacos are really good but they state that they use corn tortillas and sometimes I get flour and have to throw the entire thing away :/ this is after being specifically told by the staff that it’s gluten free, then on the next visit I’ll get flour. Just to confirm I tested it with my gluten test strips and yes, it is flour. But if you have no issues it’s good

Need to spend more time. If I lived closer it would be a weekly trip! Perfect amount of food for lunch. Such a nice selection of drinks! Go go go.

I’ve had the pleasure of dining here twice. Very good! The well-known birria tacos are worth the try, and the chori dip is excellent as well. It would have been nice for my food to be a little hotter, but it was still good.

Great place to dine and have a few good drinks! Definitely a solid 4/5 for the food and drink selections. Y Tu Mama is located inside The Veil. Which is great when you’re having a few drinks and want something to eat or snack on.

Tacos were pretty good, beware! I doused my tacos in there green sauce and boy, it was hot. I got the carne asada tacos and they had a good smoked flavor as well. Open late which is nice, as late as the brewery.

As a recent Texas transplant, hands down some of the best tacos I’ve had in VA.
