Was thinking to visit Choolaah for quite a while. Finally visited and didn’t quite like the taste of food. It’s kinda of fusion so the food felt a little bland. Not typical Indian masaladar. For the price, the quantity is very less. Probably I would think of visiting again if they add something else on the menu. Ambiance is quite and good place for hanging out with friends. One good part of the restaurant is there automatic hand washer

Had been to Choolah some 6 yrs back for the first time. Since then I have been in love with their food. It is a never and fusion-ised version of Indian food. Must try

Food was great, you can put as much spice as you wish. It’s the first time I got Indian without a burning mouth. Highly recommend. From an operational perspective it’s like McDonald’s

Ok I’m not East Indian but I’m WEST Indian and this food ain’t East Indian!!!! The flavor was all off and nothing was authentic, however this area is EXTREMELY East Indian i don’t know how this place survives. The worst part is they’re very very cheap with everything down to the rice and sauce “THAT YOU PAY EXTRA FOR” this place is madness. I even went all out and got the lamb and veggies, PS do not get the complete bowl the veggies are cooked to a pulp, what a disappointment with such a great location.

I remember the taste and flavors being much better than couple of years back when they opened and we used to visit frequently.

This was our first visit to this restaurant. The restaurant was empty when we visited. As we started to figure out what to order, Jacob offered to help us with the menu and order process. His help was valuable and helped us understand the food options and the order process.

Absolutely incredible Indian food! I went here with a friend who said the Indian food was authentic and spicy. I didn’t notice the spice that much, but I wasn’t sure what to expect because the exterior looks kind of like a chain. It was so good! I almost drove 30 minutes back over there the next day to eat there again. It was that delicious!

Delicious, fast casual Indian food. Friendly employees. The bowls are a little bit pricey. The iced chai is really good, but would be nice if the cups were larger. They are pretty small cups. They have tandoor ovens they cook with on display you can watch behind glass which is unique for an Indian restaurant in the DMV area.

I’d say this place is just OK. Honestly Rasa is much better. Choolaah charges an arm and a leg for a bowl, and they have the audacity to charge you for more sauce that comes in a container the size of a nickel. It’s cool to watch the worker making pitas but every other one came out burnt and was thrown away-seems like a huge waste.

Hotel interior is look nice ! We can say Indian style chipotle. Little pricey. Chicken variety have better taste. First time menu selection will be hard but restaurant photos can help you.Street parking is also available but hard to get. Enjoy the food.
